Edwin Boatswain

Has worked primarily as a technologist but has worked in a number of roles.  Like the other trustees Edwin is committed to making this charity and its’ aims a success.

Tio Brome

Tio is passionate about people and in particular disadvantaged children in Africa. She spent her formative years in Zambia and had an opportunity to see and know people who live in extreme poverty. As a result she is currently studying International development with the hope to help people. As a trustee of this charity her hope is her passion, desire and knowledge will encourage, inspire and most of all help the people the charity comes into contact with.

Silvia Kirk

Silvia Kirk is the founder of this charity and has put her all into ensuring we start as we mean to go along.

She has worked in various settings over the last 14 years – Private, National Health Service, Primary Care Trust, Charity and Local Authority. She is using all of those skills to help make this Charity run efficiently and effectively. In her own words

‘I have a great team of Trustees and I’m honoured to be working with them. I am looking forward to working hard and getting as much help to empower families and work out a sustainable program in Zambia’.

Faith Ngoma

Faith Ngoma lives in the UK and has been in the Finance industry for over 15 years. She has worked in various locations including London, Frankfurt and New York. Faith is currently working as a Business Analyst for a European Investment Bank.

Chris Ross

Chris first became involved with the Monica Kirk Foundation following his experience working for various charities and non profit organisations. Chris is a keen supporter of community food initiatives, healthy eating initiatives and food growing projects. He is a Director for North Glasgow Healthy Living and the Scottish Fair Trade Forum. He studies Community Education at the University of Edinburgh and most of his current day to day work involves supporting professional football clubs charitable arms and helping them to improve their work in the local communities they operate in.
